The Unkai climbing shoe (雲海 lit. Sea of clouds) is the beginning of a new range of products, where onMicro©️ microfiber is the base of its construction, giving the climbing shoe more durability, and maintaining its shape for longer.
Its enlarged toe provides the climbing shoe with a new playing field that goes from sport climbing to bouldering and indoor climbing, where grip is needed on the instep.
Movements that we constantly see in today’s climbers. The new construction method combines the advantages of a precise fit, optimized by two crossed Velcro©️ closures. This solution guarantees maximum sensitivity and precision, both in the smallest holds and in pointing or heeling.
Its full Vibram©️ Grip sole provides great stability to the climbing shoe, especially in torsion, accentuating performance in holes and grooves, and improving adherence on heel supports.
It is a climbing shoe, designed for climbing on volumes and columns, where the sensation of what is stepped on is the most important thing for the climber. Its small midsole in the shape of a half horseshoe gives the toecap the necessary rigidity to transmit all the force to the toe of the shoe.
